Isobel Blomfield
Isobel is an Associate at Equity Generation Lawyers. Prior to joining EGL, she worked as a lawyer at Maurice Blackburn, where she specialised in large-scale class action litigation.
Isobel previously worked as an Associate to the Hon. John Pascoe AC CVO, Deputy President of the Administrative Appeals Tribunal, and at the Office of the General Counsel for the Department of Communities and Justice. Isobel has also worked and volunteered in human rights and refugee law, including at Legal Aid in Indonesia on death penalty cases and at the Australian Human Rights Commission. She received the Refugee Council of Australia NSW Humanitarian Award in 2017.
Isobel holds degrees in Law and Social Research and Policy from the University of New South Wales. In 2022, she received first-class honours at the University of Melbourne in the class action masters course for her research paper on class actions and privacy.
Isobel works on the unceded lands of the Gadigal people of the Eora Nation.
