David Hertzberg

David joined Equity Generation Lawyers in 2021. He was previously a Senior Associate at Corrs Chambers Westgarth, where he specialised in large scale commercial litigation, class actions and insolvency litigation. David also worked as Tipstaff and Researcher to the President of the Court of Appeal of the Supreme Court of New South Wales.

David was named the 2024 Mahla Pearlman Australian Young Environmental Lawyer of the Year in recognition of his work leading on a number of EGL’s groundbreaking cases.

David holds degrees in Science and Law with First Class Honours from the University of Sydney.

He works on the land of the Gadigal people of the Eora Nation.
