Statement by Guy and Kim Abrahams on CBA

Guy and Kim Abrahams welcome the Commonwealth Bank of Australia’s (CBA) updated climate change-related commitments on financing fossil fuel activities announced on 9 August 2023.

The Abrahams and their lawyers Equity Generation Lawyers (EGL) engaged with CBA on important environmental and social issues in the lead up to the new commitments.

The Abrahams are appreciative of CBA’s actions, particularly as the increasingly devastating impacts of climate change are experienced around the world.
